LOVE CONCURS ALL…

I’m a psychiatrist, and my office in Malibu, California has a different ceiling than other psychiatric offices…

It has circus trapezes hanging…

When a new patient comes to my office, the first thing I do, is point to these trapezes and inquire of the newcomer: “Do you see these trapezes hanging from the ceiling?” “No,” is the reply of the puzzled unwell soul coming to my professional attention to seek relief…

Then I say: “Please, use your imagination!”

“Yes, now I see them. What are they for?”

“To hang in there. That’s the main assistance I offer, and the principal life lesson I recommend to you to muster.” The more puzzled soul goes, “How have you come by this idea?” “Simply, as wise people say, ‘Tough times go, tough people stay!’”

“How?” “By hanging in there! Love is always on the way. Every black cloud has a silver lining. After a storm, the Sun comes shining in. However, as they say, call upon God, but row away from the rocks. Always look for the positive, for the light, freedom, peace, joy... Our God-created Universe contains Good and evil, and it is up to our God-given free choice, using our special gift and mission in the Master Plan, to pick the Good, or the evil. Eventually, love concurs all!”
