ALERT!

ALERT!

Dear Friends,

Last night I woke up at 3 a.m. and an idea, that came like lightening into my mind…

Yeast infection…?

Hippocrates, 2400 years ago, sad that health begins in the gut…

As a trained and experienced physician and surgeon and psychiatrist, for many years, I immediately sensed a great deal of futility in treating many patients… shared by many of my colleagues with regards to our practice…

That is, because, medicine, surgery and psychiatry mainly address the symptom rather than the cause…

In numerous instances, the cause, etiology, is unknown…

And you know what happens when you treat only the symptom? It may ease temporarily, but has a tendency to reoccur… It is like blowing in hot tea and a depression is formed on it’s surface, and it disappears once you stop blowing…

Coming back to my God-inspired idea, and all credit goes to God, all of a sudden, I got the insight…

Yes, yes, yes! An yeast infection in the large bowel mimics a multitude of physical and emotional/mental ailments… And we doctors, treat them without treating the cause…

No wonder you go to ten doctors and get ten different opinions…

The point is that in the end of the day God’s opinion matters…

Being silent and totally submitting your complete being to God, you get the right answer, God’s guidance, the right guidance… God’s way, the right way…

Did it happen to me last night? It appears it did…

And now after this rather long introduction, I could not help it, forgive me, let’s come to the point!

According to close to 300 yeast infection studies from different universities, about three quarters of the population in our western world suffer to different degrees if yeast, or Candida infection…

Let’s face it our food, drink and air are polluted…

The main pollutants in the food we eat are sugars and sweeteners on which the yeast in the large bowel thrives and multiplies…

Research shows the healthy balance between yeast vs. good bacteria in the large bowel should be generally, 20/80…

Once we get into 20+/80- realm, we develop symptoms, from very mild to very severe…

And what are the symptoms, syndromes (groups of a few symptoms each,) and dis-eases (groups of many symptoms each,) that begin affecting us?

The most common symptoms are gas and flatulence… Mild to severe in intensity, duration and frequency, even gas pain felt in different parts of the body…

A constant craving of addictive substances, food, alcohol, drugs, follows…

Resulting in obesity, alcoholism, drug addiction…

And you can imagine some consequences in a chain of reactions…

Chronic fatigue, disturbed pattern of sleep, with unwarranted awakenings,

Waking up in the morning tired, cranky, irritable, anxious and depressed… in need to pump more of that miracle coffee, in order to wake up…

Q: How long is healthy for a person to sleep?

A: Five minutes more…LOL!

Other chain reaction results: obesity brings about cardiovascular problems, excess sugar and other food turns into cholesterol, clogging arteries and resulting in heart attacks and strokes, and affecting unfavorably many other organs…

Skin itching and other skin conditions and premature wrinkles occur…

Hormonal imbalances may be precipitated…

Libido goes down…

The immune system is lowered, exposing us to colds, and most seriously giving cancer… need for surgery, etc….

This is just a very brief summary of medical/surgical conditions caused by yeast infection…

Mental and emotional states created by yeast infection, mimic psychiatric conditions such as anxiety disorder, major depression, bipolar disorder, or any other psychiatric/psychosomatic conditions, or precipitates them… Also, it initiate and exacerbates addictions, and so forth and so on in terms of a chain reaction…
And again, we psychiatrists/psychologists/social workers and other mental health professionals end up treating the symptom rather than the cause… Many times, mistakenly treat it as if it is only in one’s mind?

And now…

Q: WHAT IS THE SOLUTION?

A: 1. Two- or three-prong approach: a. Destroying excess yeast in the colon; b. using a “broom” (25-40 gram of fiber in our daily diet) to sweep the dead yeast out of the bowel, making place for an infusion of c. good bacteria -- probiotics. Probiotics with 15 strains rather than 10, are better…
2. Continue a healthy lifestyle consisting in mostly raw vegetarian, Mediterranean diet, exercise for at least three-five times a week for 30-60 minutes, sound sleep, positive meditations and FULL FAITH IN THE HIGHER LOVING AND COMPASSIONATE POWER, WITHIN AND EVERYWHERE…

We should practice daily and hourly, and we’ll achieve…

3. Always, we should consult with our doctor, have a second, or third opinion, and then, listen to our inner voice prior to any decision, or choice we make, and we’ve already achieved…

Love and Perfect Health,

Adrian
